Many of our Strata have "House Rules" which are a simplified version of Strata By-Laws. Largely they are relevant in Strata complexes where there is a regular turnover of occupants. We ensure that all property managers are requested to provide these House Rules (along with a copy of the By-Laws) to each tenant that moves in, and that the document also outlines the requirements when moving in/moving out - with respect to which doors to use when moving furniture; where removalist vans are to park; noise levels; lift usage; notifying Strata Manager of removal dates (so we can then advise all other occupants). We can attend the property to look over the common areas following an occupant vacating and will ensure that any damage is rectified by the party responsible. We are more than happy to work with the Council of Owners to devise a set of House Rules that are relevant to your Strata, for distribution to all occupants and property managers, and if relevant, a copy to be placed in lifts or common area.
